“ This was our first time at La Napoletana and we were not disappointed! Although I’m half sicilian and half Italian, I know, look it up, for pizza I prefer Neapolitan style and La Napoletana delivered! The crust was perfecto, the right amount of tomato sauce and mozzarella, cooked to perfection in a brick oven with just the right amount of char. We have been coming to Italy from the US for the past three decades and In very seldom disappointed in the many wonderful restaurants throughout Italy and Sicily, I promise you will not be disappointed in La Napoletana! I apologize for the photo, but I just had to dig in! The server was also fantastic. He did not miss a beat. Waited on us within seconds of being seated, save chucked in on us at the right another of times. Brought us our check without us waiting like is typical in Europe. We did have a nearby patron that felt the need to light up upon finishing their meal, as I can understand that, but it was unfortunately overpowering and even a couple to the other side had to switch due to the smoke. C'est la vie! Oops, wrong country! ”

“ They accommodated our party of 9 with a nice outside seating area. Lots of types of pizza. Really good pricing, 9euro to 15euro per medium size pie. My wife and I each ordered our own pizzas, and we could have shared. But we weren't starving. Really just needed to rest and some quick nourishment. ”

The pizza was good, but it marked it 3 out of 5 as I felt there wasn't anywhere near enough tomato sauce - the ratio of toppings to actual pizza toppings (tomato sauce and mozzarella) was off. “ We ate here recently during our stay in Taormina and we think it's the best pizza we've had in Italy. We shared a 'pugliese' pizza and a rocket, apple, walnut and stracciatella salad. Both were perfection. The base and crust on the pizza was perfectly cooked. The tomato sauce and the toppings were all very fresh and good quality. The presentation was also better than nearly all others we've had in Italy. As they say, you eat with your eyes first! If you want great pizza, honestly I don't think you'll find better. The waitstaff were warm and attentive. The venue is nice and has both downstairs and upstairs dining areas. It can get quite busy and the downstairs area fills up first. ”
“ Fantastic service and even better pizza. They didn’t have seating available when we arrived so they opened the umbrellas and made space within a few minutes of us waiting. The food was incredible. There are a lot of choices so everyone can find something they like. The food was brought out much quicker than we expected. Hot, fresh and perfect paired with a beer. The entire experience was amazing. ”
